Shabri (Isha Koppikar), an honest, hard working slum dweller, wants to lead a decent life and ensure an equally decent one for her brother and mother. Now that's a difficult task when the underworld has its tentacles well and truly drawn around the underbelly of Mumbai. And if the poor and destitute manage to escape its dragnet, there is always the vicious police department waiting to unleash its terror on the powerless. Shabri's gangster story begins when she avenges her brother's death in police custody and sets her eyes on the local mafia overlord as her next target.
